About
“Performing is where I feel most like myself because it allows me to express the parts of who I am that are sometimes difficult to put into words. Through telling stories, moving people and bringing characters to life on stage, I feel free, connected and completely present.”
Violet is a twelve-year-old performer specialising in musical theatre, acting and voice. She started her journey before she could talk, humming and mumbling the lyrics to “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” from Frozen. Her passion only grew as the years went on, and her first ever show was at Haven Thornwick Bay as an ensemble member in their production of MusiKids, aged 5.
She was awarded a Performing Arts Scholarship at Scarborough College, where she continues her training in musical theatre, acting and voice. She is currently working on her school production, playing one of the main roles, The Visionary.
Offstage, she loves fishing holidays with her family in Cornwall — her biggest catch so far is 10.8 lbs. She also surfs with The Surf Coach at North Bay, Scarborough, and paddleboards at spots like Frodingham and North Landing in Flamborough.
